Al Amal Hospital
The densest ceiling void in construction, cleared before a hanger went up. Architecture, structure and MEP federated into one model, and every service zone closed out digitally before installation began.
At a glance
- Location
- Abha, KSA
- Scope
- Interior design + BIM
Outcome
The brief
Healthcare service zones carry medical gas, HVAC, drainage, power and data through the same corridors, with no tolerance for a clash found on site.
The constraint
Every service in a hospital corridor sits on another trade's critical path. One conflict found at installation does not stop one crew; it stops the crews on either side of it as well.
What we delivered
- Federated BIM model assembled from the architectural, structural and MEP disciplines
- Systematic clash detection across every service zone in Navisworks
- Conflicts resolved digitally before installation began
- Coordinated ceiling-void sections issued to each trade contractor
- As-built model maintained through construction for facility handover
