How it is produced
Documented, not rendered
The drawing set is the deliverable and the images come out of it. A rendering that no drawing supports is a promise, not a design.
Coordinated as it is drawn
The architectural model sits in the federated model from the first week, so a beam and a ceiling never meet for the first time on site.
The envelope is calculated
Build-ups carry a U-value worked to ISO 6946 and checked against SBC 601, at design stage rather than at submission.
Details where the building fails
Detail effort goes to thresholds, parapets, expansion joints and wet-area junctions, because that is where the defect list comes from.
