Capability statement

What this office can carry, which codes it works to, how a package is produced and checked, and what arrives at handover. One page, written to be forwarded.

Nothing on this page is a claim we cannot show you. Every discipline links to what it produces and the standards it is produced to; every calculator links to the published worked example it is checked against.

How a package runs

  1. 01

    Scope

You send a package. Scope, fixed price and a delivery date come back within two working days.

  2. 02

    Set up

Standards, templates, naming and the review protocol agreed. One named project lead assigned.

  3. 03

    Produce

Modelling, design and detailing, with progress visible to you inside the model, not only in a report.

  4. 04

    Coordinate

Clash detection by zone, discipline reviews, and a clash register that is closed out rather than reported.

  5. 05

    Issue and defend

Drawings issued for review, and comments answered by the engineer who produced the work.

  6. 06

    Hand over

As-built model, COBie data, calculation notes and every native file: all handed to you.

How to engage us

Package delivery Fixed scope, fixed fee: one discipline or one work package.
Full project engineering A fixed fee against an agreed deliverables schedule.
Dedicated engineering team Per engineer, per month: your tools, your standards, released at closeout.
Peer review and second opinion A fixed fee for an independent read on a design, a model or a submission before you commit.

What happens before it leaves the office

  • A second engineer signs the check: No drawing and no calculation note leaves on the strength of the person who produced it. The check is recorded on the document.
  • Software confirms, it does not decide: A hand check on the scheme comes before the model. Reactions, deflections and equilibrium are verified before any member is sized.
  • Assumptions are stated, not carried: Every calculation note opens with its design conditions and its clause references, because a note a reviewer cannot follow is a note that comes back.
  • Comments are answered by the author: A reviewer comment goes back to the engineer who produced the work, and the model or the note is corrected before the reply is written.
  • Nothing is claimed that cannot be evidenced: No certification count, no project count that has not been delivered, and no client named without written permission.

The public calculator library

Free, public, and checked in front of the visitor: each tool runs its published worked examples in your own browser and prints the deviation. It is the cheapest way to judge whether an office knows the code it quotes.
